As a saxophonist, Chris is currently freelancing in big bands, Salsa bands, and jazz combos.
In May of 2007, Chris recorded with "Simone," daughter of the late great vocalist Nina Simone. Chris played bari sax with the Rob Stoneback Big Band, under producer Bob Belden.
Recent exciting performances include several east coast performances with California Transit Authority, featuring the great drummer Danny Seraphine, formerly of "Chicago."
A performance with the HeadsUp Superband with Keith Carlock, Kenny Blake, Gerald Veasley, and Joe McBride was a rousing success.
Other performance credits include Marko Marcinko (Maynard Ferguson), John Swana, Bill Watrous, Patti Austin, Wynton Marsalis, Tom Harrell, Lew Soloff, Tim Warfield, Cindy Green, Conrad Herwig and Steve Davis.
